April Saler, our Arts Integration instructor for PreK-3rd grade, holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Florida International University and a Master of Fine Arts from Florida State University. Her experimental mixed media artwork explores emotionally charged narratives using found objects, graffiti, video projections, reactive paintings, and collaborative drawings. She has previously taught art and art history at Florida State University, Broward College, and Schott Communities, a South Florida school for blind, deaf, and disabled adults. Saler’s work has been published and exhibited internationally and domestically.
