Catholic Schools Week

Catholic Schools Week will be on January 28th through February 3rd, it is an annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. Schools typically observe the week with Masses, open houses and other activities for students, families, parishioners and community members. Through these events, schools focus on the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to Church, local communities and the nation.


Monday, Jan 29:

Catholic Charities Day:

            Souper Bowl: Students may wear their Superbowl team’s jersey (or colors) and socks with uniform bottoms on this day! Bring in a canned good to add to your team’s table     to show your support for your Superbowl Team!  (Sponsored by NJHS, cans will be donated to Blessed Sacrament / St. Vincent DePaul Pantry).

Door Decorating Contest

            (see theme above) to be completed by end of today! See rubric for door qualifications


Tuesday, Jan 30:

Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day:

There will be drawings throughout the day – All faculty and staff members will be eligible for the drawings!

Doors will be judged today


Wednesday, Jan 31:

Pastor and Priest Appreciation Day


Thursday, Feb 1:

Student Appreciation Day

Students may wear “CRAZY SOCKS & HATS ” to school on this day! Every student will be offered a special treat at lunch!


Friday, Feb 2:

Mass / Grandparents Day / Scholastic Book Fair
