Alum Notes

CLASS OF 2013

SEAN BRESLIN – Sean was named to the Sun-Sentinel and Miami Herald Broward Track 2nd Teams.  He is going to attend FAU.

CUTLER BRITO – Cutler received Honorable Mention honors for the Sun-Sentinel All-State Football Team as the punter for the STA football team.  He has signed with Florida Atlantic University to play college football.

SARAH (LAINEY) DAVIS – Lainey wa selected to represent Saint Thomas Aquinas High School as a candidate for General Scholarship in the Silver Knights Program. Lainey has also been named to the Sun-Sentinel Broward Soccer 2nd Team.

BELLA DOROSY – Bella was named to the Miami Herald All Broward Soccer 1st Team and was also named the Sun-Sentinel Broward Soccer Player of the Year for the third year in a row! Bella has won three state soccer titles in her four years at STA, amassing 120 goals and 73 assists during her high school career. When she was a freshmen, her sister Dallas Dorosy ’11 was the Player of the Year.  Bella will join her sister in the fall at FSU to continue her soccer career.

CHARLOTTE DOYLE – Charlotte received Honorable Mention Honors for the Miami Herald All Broward Soccer Team.  SHe is going to attend Indiana University.

NICOLE FAVREAU – Nicole was selected to represent Saint Thomas Aquinas High School as a candidate for Speech in the SIlver Knights Program.

MARY MCCORMICK – Mary was named to the Sun-Sentinel and Miami Herald Broward Soccer 1st Teams.  She is going to attend Lehigh University.

ANNE SCHLOSS – Anne Schloss received the President’s Volunteer Service Award from Prudential Spirit of Community Award Foundation.  She is going to attend FSU.

JACK VOLD – Jack attends STA and has signed with University of Central Florida to play football.

 

CLASS OF 2014

ALEXANDRA CASSIS – Alexandra is attending Cardinal Gibbons High School and has been nominated by the Critics’ Awards Program, or Cappies for short, for the “Costumes” award for their production of Little Women.

 

CLASS OF 2015​

CHARLOTTE BACHARACH – Charlotte is attending Cardinal Gibbons High School and has been nominated by the Critics’ Awards Program, or Cappies for short, for the “Freshman Critic” award.

ISABEL CHAMBERLAIN – Isabel is attending high school at American Heritage in Plantation.  She joined the school newspaper and has won 2 all-Florida awards for poetry.

OLIVIA JIMENEZ – Olivia moved to Amsterdam in the Netherlands and is attending the International School of Amsterdam. The school teaches a complete International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. Olivia is the school’s head student, equivalent of a student council president, and has been traveling with school directors to different countries, including Spain, Switzerland and Belgium. They are traveling to represent their school and learn from other IB schools.

SOPHIA SAVAGLIO – Congratulations to Sophia for being selected to the US Lacrosse South Florida Team for the National Championships.

 

CLASS OF 2016

MATTHEW JAHNES – Matthew is attending Saint Thomas Aquinas High School and has been nominated by the Critics’ Awards Program, or Cappies for short, for the award “Featured Actor in a Play” for his role in Everyman.
